Bottom.
Well, have’nt been doing much on this page for a while & autumn is already here. Autumn is my favourite season with winter a close second. For some reason, I enjoy the darker mornings, the cooler weather & of course, like most people- the wonderful colours in the falling leaves.
Also, I think it is the perfect time to publish an oversized picture on a blog (with an orange autumn moon that has been cropped out of frame) & say “bottom” three times in a row: “bottom bottom bottom” =(ancient japanese hai-ku)

Anthony, Hi! I just found your blog by accident (kind of) today.
Glad I found it— now, I can read your blog, too!
As you may remember, autumn is my favorite season as well. However, around here most of the trees don’t change colors and often the leaves don’t fals off until the spring.
Here is a lovely poem to accompany your wonderful haiku:
A blade of grass by Khalil Gibran
Said a blade of grass to an autumn leaf, “You make such a noise falling! You scatter all my winter dreams.”
Said the leaf indignant, “Low-born and low-dwelling! Songless, peevish thing! You live not in the upper air and you cannot tell the sound of singing.”
Then the autumn leaf lay down upon the earth and slept. And when spring came she waked again — and she was a blade of grass.
And when it was autumn and her winter sleep was upon her, and above her through all the air the leaves were falling, she muttered to herself, “O these autumn leaves! They make such a noise! They scatter all my winter dreams.”
